TyphoonsSunday December 31, 2006 Recent typhoons also drastically affected the islands of Masbate and Marinduque where Long Pham ministers. Since then, he has traveled to both of these places and observed the challenge of life for people where there is no electricity and most of the houses and crops were destroyed. Pray for continued relief efforts to minister to those who have suffered great loss on these Luzon islands. Long gives praise that Christian workers recently had the opportunity to share the Good News with more than 100 high school students in the town of Cataingan, Masbate. This effort was the result of four months of prayer and training youth in reaching their peers. Pray for a worker who speaks Cebuano to be called out and sent to reach the remote village of Recodo, Cawayan, Masbate. Long Pham |
